Can I buy an eSIM before the trip and activate it later?

The validity period of the data package starts at the moment of the first connection to the network via your eSIM, in the country/region for which you purchased the package. Remember that the maximum period in which you must start using the purchased data package is 6 months from purchase.
Are there additional charges for an eSIM?
